Gérard Millet Chairman

Mr. Millet has a long experience in the fields of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Direct Investments. As an advisor, he has been at the forefront of European investments in Asia for the past 35 years and has gained a great knowledge of multicultural negotiations, particularly with Chinese and Japanese companies.
A founding member and former President of the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and a founding Vice-President of the Hong Kong Venture Capital Association, Mr. Millet has been a Hong Kong resident since 1979.
His academic qualifications include a Diplôme de l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Lauréat), a M.Sc. in Economics and an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (USA).

Ryujiro Yagasaki Director

Mr. Yagasaki had a long and distinguished career with Mitsubishi Trust Group both domestically and internationally. In 1999 he became a member of the Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Trust Bank and General Manager of the New York Branch. He was appointed Managing Director in charge of Pension Fund Management in 2001, CEO and Chairman of Mitsubishi Asset Management in 2004 and Chairman of the Board of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Business in 2007. He retired from this position in 2010 and joined Milma & Co.
Mr. Yagasaki is a graduate in Economics from Keio University and obtained his Master in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Mr. Yagasaki is a visiting professor on global business at Aoyama University and Yokohama National University.

Xiaolei Ma Director

Born in Shanghai, Ms. Ma studied Business Administration at Shanghai University and at Ehime Women’s College in Japan. She, first, worked in Shanghai for Matsushita and then for Nomura Securities before joining Development Bank of Japan in Singapore where she worked on cross-border M&A transactions. She joined Milma & Co. after relocating to Hong Kong in 2011.
Xiaolei speaks Mandarin, Shanghainese, Japanese, English and some French. She is a Certified Public Accountant in China.

Matthieu Millet Non-Executive Director

Mr. Matthieu Millet has over 18 years of experience in fixed income sales and fund management. After working over 9 years with Mitsubishi, UFJ Trust International in London, Tokyo and Singapore, he relocated to Hong Kong and joined, first, Oppenheimer and then, D.B.S. He now manages a private portfolio.

Richard Burton Senior Advisor

Mr Burton is a seasoned international executive with experience of developing businesses and joint ventures in Latin America, Europe and Asia where he headed up the development and regional operations of Coface, based in Hong Kong for 16 years.
Since 2015 Mr Burton has been assisting mainly European companies to grow, scale, raise funds and seek partners and investors in Asia.
Mr Burton is a former Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and also a former Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
